Our certified LearningKata / ImprovementKata journeys are designed to take teachers, educational leaders,industry leaders and business professionals to harnessing the benefits of having a practiced routine for moving from the current state to a new future state as the means of delivering on established outcomes and key results. Teaching the valuable skills needed to move from strategy to tactics.

The kata allows you to step into the role of Mentor via the practice of the Coaching Kata. For leaders who want to mentor their teams in a scientific way of thinking & acting. Empowering those closest to the action, aligned on shared goals, to develop the solutions which provide the desired outcomes and/or key measured results.

The Journey takes you on a growth plan from Learner to Practitioner.

You are accompanied by fellow travelers and guided by an experienced Trainer and Coach, who will serve a guides and support for your journey.

The journey provides you an opportunity to learn, practice, improve the skills and opportunities to participate in the work needed to gain mastery over your new skills. You are accompanied by teammates and guided by Trainers and Coaches who have taken the journey themselves and mastered the skill needed to go with you.

As part of the certification journey, the traveler will bring their own objectives, the things that they want for themselves and others to help determine the journey’s destination. Along the way the traveler will gain knowledge and demonstrate understanding of the following agile improvement kata skills:

  • How to plane and leverage the PDCA cycle

  • Creation and Refining a Vision

  • Casting a Vision

  • Creation and Refining of Value statements

  • Agile Outcomes/Key Results

  • Creation, Refinement and Deconstruction of Objectives

  • Creation, Refinement and Deconstruction of Goals

  • Articulation of Current State and Next Target State

  • Creation, running, measurement and pivoting in experimentation toward movement from Current to Next Target State
